I'm going *squee* about my writing task, but because this is Yueltide I can't give any info without giving the game away about the fandom, which is rather annoying.

It's been a very definite autumnal day here in "sunny" Scotland. There was sun for a while (it's still there too), but it was raining earlier. But there is something about the feel of the air that just says "AUTUMN" in big, but subtle letters. You know, like a Woolworths sign. Maybe that's not such a good analogy ( Read more... )

Have mostly recovered, except for the cough, so I'm back trying to fix the next bits of fiction while writing project reports on soil pH and frogs (that's two separate reports). And trying not to play Dragon Age Origins too much (and failing at that).

Pup#1 and I have just finished playing the DDC game that fayzalmoonbeam  gave to us, and it has me wanting to write fanfic about it. I clearly have serious withdrawal symptoms that I didn't know about if I want to fictionalise that game!!

I've stopped skulking and feeling sorry for myself about the symposium. I'll just have to go down next year, and I'll do the rest of the stuff by email.
instead, today I'm going to be wonderfully useful and v productive, in proper Bridget Jones fashion. Once I've finished playing Blue Dragon.
